It is mid-February at Rawah Academy and the boys are excelling in academics, arts, and sports.

Both Eli and Jack are doing exceptionally well with reading, writing, and math. Biblical and American history are also in full swing.

It has been an exciting holiday season since we added a new member to our Rawah family – Charlie! Chris surprised everyone with a 7-week-old golden retriever puppy in November and our lives have been upended by this rambunctious fuzzball. Charlie loves to play but is learning slowly that biting is not part of the games.

Our puppy has more than doubled in size in two-months and may top out at a whopping 70-75 pounds according to the vet. We’re “going to need a bigger boat!”

Jack and Eli have been enjoying friendships with three boys from local homeschool functions and spend countless hours gaming online and talking late into the evenings. The five of them attend several weekly functions that include laser tag, dodgeball, food, and Bible study.

Eli is wrapping up his last year of elementary school and is growing into a respectful and intelligent young man. He shows great skill in visual design, leadership, and compassion.

Jack is finishing first grade and shows great skill with spelling and writing. He is also a gifted game creator using various platforms to create game levels he tests out on our not so talented gaming family. He’s good at it and will talk your ear off about it if you ask.
